Working on my 3rd redesign for the weapons system in Chromepunks. First iteration was a twin-stick system, but it felt too far from the classic Zelda feel I wanted. Second was inventory based guns mapped to an action slot - too cumbersome. Trying something else - Third time lucky! Joys of gamedev!

The best artists are full of self-doubt. It fuels them. I'm yet to come across an "AI artist" who doesn't love the smell of their own farts. This is especially rampant in the AI video creator space over on X. Less hubris / more humility might make them better artists. Just an observation.

I’m so tired of this ‘mandate’ BS and ‘the American people said…’ nonsense. Trump didn’t win a majority of the popular vote, and beat Harris by one of the smallest popular vote margins (1.5%) in US history. If you factor in turnout, he got the votes of less than 1 in 3 eligible voters in the US.
