As a competitive game it also doesn't have a real vs/tournament mode, which feels weird if it's supposed to be a competitive game. I do think the game is good tbc, but I think it would better if it had a more intentionally designed single player mode and a real vs mode. Hopefully added down the line

It also means difficulty is effectively locked to your rank. You will win about half your matches as is the nature of ranked, you cannot tweak the difficulty to make that harder, and if you did start intentionally playing weaker teams it simply cause your rank to fall and get easier

because your opponents in ranked will be attempting to optimize for the highest number. The result is that imbalances get really magnified because while in a baltro you might have 2 builds that are not even in power level but still both capable of winning, in batomon only the strong can survive

it is technically a competitive game, but there's not really any mechanics for actually interacting with your opponent, so it's effectively singleplayer and akin to like, balatro but the targets you have to hit are both obfuscated and effectively locked at "the highest number that is possible"

if you have the space it's lossless. If you want to do better compression yourself you'd wanna start with the lossless & then compress it. I do find it odd that sometimes something is ONLY avalible as a 500gb remux, like there's somehow no demand for a compressed version

I've been reading the john layman run of scorched & it's wild how disconnected the covers are from the contents. Frequently they feature characters not in the issue at all & when there's an issue focused on one particular character they're often not on the cover

You should press A+C+D, not just C+D. A+C is throw break so if your opponent tries to throw your parry and is a little early you'll tech it. Similarly using this as a tech input will sometimes parry an opponent's frame trap if they try to bait your tech, especially good since throw whiff is CH state
