TL;DW: I've had some very rough matches as of late, and don't feel very confident in my ability to provide a good show in this GP. However, I don't want to up-and-vanish for a month, so I'll be commentating matches played throughout the GP instead.

I actually cast this last Thursday, with one opponent having Beseech the Mirror in their bin and another with Vampiric Tutor. It wound up eating a Force of Will! … and then I topdecked the Freed From the Real I was going to cast off Beseech 😅 Alaundo got to start spinning through my cards anyway

I’m excited to see how Pauper Rev goes, I’m excited to see what our fall set will be… I’ve been struggling with quite a lot on the personal side of things, but the regularly scheduled Custom MtG videos will resume soon!

CovetedPeacock @covetedpeacock.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

Burnout hit *hard*, but I think I’d like to try and bring it back around next month. For those not in the server, Revolution’s end-of-season specialty tournament next month is Pauper, which was almost the format I first made videos for! I’m hoping to have a primer in the next patch review!

CovetedPeacock @covetedpeacock.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

I think I might love this precon

My boardstate during my first game with Quintorius, History Chaser. I have 3 Plains, two mountain-plains duals, and a Lotus Field in play, + Arcane Signet, Sol Ring, and Patchwork Banner as additional mana rocks. There are a Vanguard of the Restless, Squee, and Sunscorched Divide exikled under a Currency Converter, 10 loyalty counters on Qunitorius, 3 Treasure tokens, 5 Spirit tokens, a Rogue token, plus Tocasia's Welcome, Quintorius, Field Historian, and Lorehold Archivist in play. Graveyard has Relic Retriever, Conspiracy Theorist, Quintorius Loremaster, Millikin, Command Tower, and Clifftop Retreat, plus 2 cards in exile between Teshar and Advanced Reconstruction. My hand has 7 cards. I'm at 38 life. This is my board state the turn after the second Blasphemous Act, which occurred the turn cycle after the first one.

Today the US federal regime released a 16 page "counter terrorism strategy" that includes this. Trans pogroms begin in earnest soon. Please save trans lives in any way you can think of. Please.

"In addition to cartels and Islamist terror groups, our national CT activities will also prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist. We will use all the tools constitutionally available to us to map them at home, identify their membership, map their ties to international organizations like Antifa, and use law enforcement tools to cripple them operationally before they can maim or kill the innocent. We will do the same with the state sponsors of such groups and those governments undertaking lethal plots on U.S. soil or against Americans anywhere."
