I have started my commentary/retrospective on #janetvandyne / #thewasp 's many, many costumes over the decades. Get your butts over here to look at it, because I put a lot of effort into it. Today's posts are the alternate universes! www.tumblr.com/thebiscuitet...

Cloeme likes super sweet, full of cream and chocolate and stuff like that. Sinnigia prefers fruity flavors, the sharper, the better. Between the two of them, they could empty the whole candy dish without even being aware of it if they're not reminded to share with everyone else.

Both of the twins started out with romantic notions and often gossiped with each other about who fit their individual criteria. After Cloe got temporarily merked by Balthazar and their twin bond (fortunately also temporarily) severed, they've become too codependent to even consider dating someone.

I think I finally came across a #janetvandyne costume I can't find an artist source for. All the credits just circle back to Marvel and Disney in every instance I've tried. The fact that it first appeared on international card sets like five years before it ever showed up on a US set is not helping.

If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

Neiman Marcus closed its downtown Dallas flagship on Wednesday. The store played a notable role in the history of desegregation in Dallas. Previously, Black shoppers across the US could enter department stores, but they weren't allowed to try on clothes without adhering to certain conditions. 🧵

A notice about the Neiman Marcus store opening in downtown Dallas.

I have a pair of twin sisters, Commander and Shade. They both took the Wayfinder role because like hell Sinnigia was going to let the wizards dump all that extra responsibility on Cloeme alone.

JLA Avengers by @kurtbusiek.bsky.social and George Perez is a love letter to anyone who has ever read a DC or Marvel comic. We all love "who would win in a fight," but this more importantly asks "how can we coexist and work together to be better?" This book is the pure thesis of superhero stories.

My squishy monster sheep Edith is getting updated refs. Still figuring out how her bullshit proportions work in poses. #horror #friendshapedhorror #monsterdesign

Three body poses, two head shots, and one hoof closeup of Edith the Monster Sheep. She has six blue eyes, an abnormally large mouth with sharp teeth, the inside of which is also blue, as is the inside of her ears and the bottoms of her hooves. Her legs are much longer than those of a normal sheep. Notes read "Leaves glowing hoof prints!", "Middle eye never fully closes", and, next to a lying down pose, "Where the hell does all that leg go?"

Unfinished sketches of more Edith poses, including one of her next to a normal-sized sheep. There are notes reading "1 1/2 sheeps tall" and "face is more predator-shaped."

Tumblr DM convo about Edith:
>"1 and 1/2 sheeps tall" because you are only allowed to measure Edith in unit of sheeps.
>it's the only way it makes sense
>and then if you look at her wrong, it doesn't. *is* she one and a half sheeps tall, or two?
>The ruler may lie, but Edith is always the height she is. Don't question it

It's great to see tailoring accommodate such extreme movement today. This level of tailoring was a bit more common in the past, as you can see in old films featuring Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly, but many modern suits will lift off the wearer's neck even when they're just walking.
