I'm not sure if Ted Is Ok, but I loved this book. The art and panel layout were unbelievably cool. The story starts low to the ground and feels epic. Loved the characters and themes. High recommend on this one!

Seriously getting sick of emails that say "Hello, I am Hugh Mann, a real hewman, who does huymun things. Will you please review my totally real art and ask me questions about it as I respond with a soundboard."

The library isn't your mommy or daddy. Nobody is forcing you to check out any books. Nobody is forcing you to read any books. If you don't like a book, don't read it. If you don't want your kids reading the book, grow up, be a parent, and choose a different book.

Hey so cool announcement! My wife and our friend are starting their own podcast. They'll review horror movies for medical and mental health accuracy, not medical or mental health advice. First two episodes drop tomorrow, and will be bi-weekly from there.

Assorted Crisis Events vol 2 by @denizcamp.bsky.social has been rattled my brain in a way not many comics have. It unlocked new fears and gave me a way to handle them. It's about making sense of the world and yourself. It's about mistakes and inescapable tragedy, but with a glimmer of light.

I hope it's cool to add on to this list. Healthy masculinity also includes admitting you're wrong, admitting you don't know, admitting your feelings are hurt, admitting something is too difficult, asking for help, helping when you can, bringing others up, being vulnerable and being kind.

My tips are as follows: 1) Don't treat discussions of trans people, pronouns, or issues as if you're saying something you need to apologize for. To steal a Kevin Hart bit, "Say it with your chest" like you know you're right and you mean it. 2) Saying "that's fucked up" or just "nope" goes a long way

If your "joke" is punching down, it's not a joke. If a friend makes a joke/statement that makes you uncomfortable, tell them privately. It might not actually register to them why it's bad. Have a conversation with them if you can and it's safe.

JLA Avengers by @kurtbusiek.bsky.social and George Perez is a love letter to anyone who has ever read a DC or Marvel comic. We all love "who would win in a fight," but this more importantly asks "how can we coexist and work together to be better?" This book is the pure thesis of superhero stories.
