all the pieces I've draw of my knight Kauno⚔️ [ #oc | #art | #knight ]

digital painting of knight oc Kauno. He's standing naked knee deep in water and covering himself with his hand crossed over his chest. The hand played with some of his long locks and reveals a healed scar in his neck. At his feet sinking into the water is a late medieval armour, slumping over him with dead weight. Kauno has places his right hand to hold the armor at the same spot (neck) he has his scar. All around them are seven common terns flying and diving into the water, splashing the otherwise calm water.

digital painting of two knights: Wreg (left) and Kauno (right). Wreg is unclothed and wearing a meadow flowercrown, as is custom for various midsummer spells in nordic countries. He's holding Kauno, who is in full plate armour. They are smiling tenderly at each other, and Kauno caresses Wreg's cheek. They are hiding from the setting sun in forest, which can be seen glimpses of in the background.

digital painting of burly knight oc Wreg being kissed by angel Kauno. Kauno is flying towards him, and is fully armored and holding a red banner. Wreg on the other hand is facing his back at the viewer and is very much naked and gripping the banner.

i love 2/3/4 for different reasons!! 2's story, 3 for Heather, and 4 for the overall vibe but 4 has its problems! :)

[Scooby Doo] Mystery Inc. is on the case! 🔍

A Scooby Doo piece: the characters are pushed up against one another while Fred leans over with a magnifying glass. Velma looks over Fred’s shoulder inquisitively, Daphne leans on Velma while looking puzzled, and Shaggy and Scooby stand back with fearful faces. A smaller version of the gang is pictured on the bottom right, running in a way that is similar to the chase scenes in the classic Scooby Doo cartoon.

The “best” thing about genAI (the quotes are doing heavy work here) is that it’s really lowered the bar on getting into hand-made art. Literally anything you make is better than ai. There’s never been a better time to throw away your fear and start learning that craft you’ve always wanted to learn.

Working on a new piece; thinking about star thistles, how in the western US they are an invasive and noxious weed that readily takes over land that has been disturbed and degraded. or something.

A pencil sketch of two women embracing, surrounded by star thistles. One woman has star thistle spines protruding from her body and pressing against the skin of the other woman attempting to hold her close.

an unforeseen benefit to ai is that if you see a person/organization use it you can immediately weed them out as completely uncaring/inept/full of shit

one of those things where people see it and are like "what the fuck, furries" but if furries had worked on it it would look good

Creep riso print 🐺🌕

Illustration of Josef from the movie Creep. He is wearing a halloween costume wolf mask called "Peachfuzz." He looms over us, taking up most of the composition, stepping into frame as if to corner us. He is brandishing an axe, having it pulled back close to his body threateningly. His wolf mask expression is snarling at us. Behind him the moon is full and large, being obscured partially by Josef. The dark trees of a forest peek out behind him. At the bottom of the page from our point of view we are holding up a camcorder. On the flipped open screen we see Josef sans wolf mask but in the exact same pose described before. He is smiling at us, and also wears a heart necklace.

this graduation speech moment is notable, and her amazed shock at having failed to read the room feels instructive. when you're inside the bubble, you think everybody else is. but everybody isn't.
