Back in 2019 when I was still studying media design I ran After Effects on an old 13 inch 2012 HP Elitebook that my partner's dad got off AliExpress, and used the tiny trackpad instead of a mouse. Did that for like a year until I could afford something better. I still don't quite understand how.
