I think the standard image of a flying monkey is not great. Yeah, it’s fantasy, so fur and feathers are fair. I’d start with a lighter frame, like a woolly monkey. Then I’d add wings more like that of a bat.

I still listen to the 7 Wonders app on iOS as one of the best digital versions of a tabletop game. Here’s a weird win. I had planned on getting a lot of 🔵 cards. Ended up war mongering and spamming ⚫️ city cards.

I can't help stopping any show featuring a board game The most typical mistake is showing a chess board with 2 white bishops on 2 white squares or some such. And yeah, you could promote a pawn into a bishop, but who would? This Twilight Zone ep couldn't even do checkers right.

I went along with the trend by taking the quiz at mydialect.us/quiz-standar... I’ve been in Dayton Ohio more than half my life, but it hasn’t chipped the paint on my Michigan accent. It didn’t ask about the “dh” sound in “there” or “oo” sound in “mouse” (some Canadian influence near Port Huron)

Thinking about games that would benefit from a #cribbage board. It's not about just incrementing points; it's the in-the-moment scoring. Scrabble seems like it would be, but the the track would either have to be very long or have a lap tracker. Fox in the Forest is a great fit. Any others?
