✒️🌲🌕 "Connor the Coniferous" - Wrapped up my final art of 2024 with 1 hour to spare! This piece revisited one of my characters from '23 with improved techniques / new composition. Part of my Tree Folk series #ink #penandink #lineart #ent #fantasy #TreeFolk #b&wart #trees #cozyart #stippling #darkart

Connor the Coniferous tree folk looms over an unsuspecting cabin in a snowy pine forest. The moon, huge in the sky, lights the scene.

✒️🌲🖤 Did lots of work on the clouds, but it was really making the composition feel messy. After staring at it for 30min I took a risk & greatly simplified it. I'll add subtle stars w/ white pen when the black dries. #micron #ink #penandink #lineart #ent #fantastyart #TreeFolk #b&wart #trees #cozyart

Library purchases are purchases. They pay the press. The press counts them towards advances and royalties. And (gasp) the book is in a library!! It’s wonderful and no one should ever feel bad about getting a book through a library instead of buying it.

Two issues in & I know: Green Lantern Dark is going to be one of those perfect standalones that I can recommend to anyone. Admist the horror, @tatebrombal.bsky.social is doing an excellent character study of imposter syndrome0, whilst @wertherdelledera.bsky.social delivers killer moody visuals

During the winter months, high in the northern regions, one may catch a glimpse of the old giants of the glaciers, able to travel south for this brief window of time in which the air is colder. #tradart #fantasyart #inkdrawing #art #fantasy

I find it wierd how so many RPGs of the last 10 or so years are being treated as glorified dating sims. I get that alot of people enjoy those aspects of the games (myself included) but it seems wierd how much marketing and discussion is solely around the romance and nothing else in the games

I have to say it's really wild to see one of the main complaints from the community for Veilguard be that it is too "Disney-esque" but than the character who everyone seems to consider the nest in the game is far and away the most Disney inspired character in the game
