Again still pretty early but confused by a lot of the Control: Resonant critiques. It ain't DMC5 but it's also not really trying to be. Also it's just not what I came to a Control sequel for. Sometimes it's about more than just the buttons you press, y'know?

The fact that it is basically just smashing your HP against the enemy means I'm never actually going to try a higher level dungeon. I basically use them to pull up my lower level teammates by letting them last hit but it seems like a huge missed opportunity

Like most things of great cultural impact it seems to be entirely aesthetically based. There's so little in Remedy games outside of obvious visual nods that actually reminds me of David Lynch's work.

Yeah! The official badge marketplace will go up and getting resale badges will be easy, esp once the hotel lottery passes. They do a great job of making keeping scalpers out of there too - anyone trying to sell a badge transfer on official transfer for an inflated gets banned
