Haven’t shared my current reading in a while. About halfway through this 1975 collection of C.L. Moore’s stories, a woman pioneer of speculative fiction. Great stuff!

Updated my Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis #CMDR deck, which is the deck I've kept together the longest: nearly TEN years now! Lots of twists & turns in the list over the years, now pretty firmly in the "legends matter" camp with high impact big spells to finish games. archidekt.com/decks/873029...

I know the Triomes came along and overshadowed them, but I think it's worth remembering how freaking awesome these original tri-lands were for color fixing back in the early days of EDH. I still play with these in my decks.

Every time I have the privilege of playing in the Arena early access events for Standard, most of my opponents are playing the sweatiest, high powered Standard decks with little to no new cards. I wanted to play and play against Reality Fracture cards, isn’t that the point of this?

Assuming this doesn't end up costing a fortune to pick up, I'm definitely interested in brewing a nongreen landfall deck. I'm definitely NOT interested in trying to go the combo route, with only bonkers/oppressive high mana creatures in the deck, I'm just going to have a bunch of sweet creatures.

Reality Fracture has turned out to be a really cool set; I love a lot of the designs and callbacks to nostalgia (since I'm an Magic geezer). But there are a bunch of cards I'm definitely NOT interested in playing, so this will be a singles-buying set for me, not random booster cracking!

One of my first stabs at a competitive Magic deck in 1994/95 was G/W with mana critters, Force of Nature & Armageddon. I used Spirit Link to offset the damage from the Force. I thought I was pretty clever cooking this up, but Swords to Plowshares quickly educated me this was not a great plan LOL
