Where are the mercenary vigilante forces destroying oil-extraction infrastructure, PFAS chemical plants, the plastics producers, the car/plane factories? Life on earth literally and entirely depends on the cessation of these products. They will not do it willingly. We need to be doing it violently.

Suggested ground rules for the ‘debate’ on 'bad' cycling 🧵: 1) Cyclists or cycling advocates are not collectively responsible for the bad behaviour of individuals. What’s your actual point? You want less cycling or rules that have that effect? Be clear.

So I'm in France and Marine Le Pen's conference speech is being broadcast in the hotel lobby on the main channel in full. The western establishment is absolutely determined that we sink into fascism now, and they are bringing all their considerable propaganda arms in to play to make it happen.

The failure of the Assisted Dying bill in the Lords once again reveals the shame that is 'democracy' in the UK. The establishment and the church are assured just enough power to always keep their finger on the scales, no matter what the people want. Media hides this by pretending we have a democracy

Honestly, if we're having to expend energy on fighting low-hanging fruit like data centres, which should the easiest of red-lines... then we are screwed. Utterly screwed. We ain't winning this.

The last thylacinus died in captivity on this day 90 yrs ago. Of course, they were hunted to extinction as they were considered a danger to livestock. Though it's now thought they only hunted small prey. Being marsupials they had pouches, both sexes in fact. And could open their mouths really wide.
Picture of two thylacinus in a zoo. Colloquially known as the Tasmanian Tiger, though of course they are unrelated. They have a canine like head and body, with an extended butt and stiff tail. They have upright short rounded ears. A mostly brown coat but with distinctive black stripes across their backs, extending longer over their haunches.

Are we not as gods, we cried! As we claimed this earth our own. Here the land is ours, to do with as we please. Exploiting to destruction, if we so should deem. Animals our playthings, water our possession, The air a dumping range. And as everybody knows - a god is never wrong.

Either ban cars in cities/towns, or deprioritise them thoroughly, so that walkers, rollers, and riders always have right of way on every urban street at any time. With a max speed of 5 k/h. They have to travel at speeds that never endanger other lives and can quickly stop every time they need to.

So the Nepal disaster was not caused by a quake as thought, but by the collapse of a glacial snout. (There was no quake, the shock of the collapse caused land vibration.) Ice frozen into rock cracks holds a glacier in place. But the ice gets near 80% weaker if it warms, (doesn't need to unfreeze).

Drought or the muted effect of eclipsed sunlight? Trick question - It's both.
Photo taken during the 2026 solar eclipse of the Downs in Bristol. Mostly a grassy field and a few trees dotted around. The ground is yellow. A number of people are scattered through the scene, some sat down, others walking. The grass is parched from a lack of rain.

The Logo for the 2012 London Summer Olympics was widely and rightly derided at the time, so an unofficial competition started up to come up with a better one. This was mine. But they were all better than what London had paid millions to some design twats to create.
Very unofficial logo of the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games. At the bottom is a stylised outline of the Thames in blue, with a circle to represent the O2 Arena. Above that is a flowing and circular rendering of the word 'London', incorporating the Olympics symbol (5 different colour circles) using the O, D, and O. And the number '2012' can be seen by the way 'Lon' is drawn.
