So there is a particular type of shooting game where you have a gun on a post and two potentiometers on the gun that turn when you move the gun. Like dead storm pirates or Terminator salvation. For some reason they always have a spur gear pressed onto the potentiometer driven by the gun moving

Yesterday I made a circuit to test if sensors work. The circuit works, the sensor I brought home from work does not. It directs the signal from the sensor through a transistor's base pin through a resistor into a green LED

This robot arm project is really slow going but I still think this gearbox with a 25:1 reduction I made with a turntable on top is pretty cool

A board with microcontrollers on it. An ESP32 Wrover plugged into a breakout board for controlling servos is wired to a 12v 10A power supply, a stepper motor controller and a rocker switch. The barrel jack on the ESP32 has a capacitor between the contacts to avoid voltage spikes

@twist.dog got my 3D scanner and did a quick test on my twist plushie. I need to learn more about this device before I can do anything useful with it but this is already pretty cool
