The Silver Surfer glides effortlessly through space on his board, dodging multicolored asteroids and living free.

That was super nice of Venditti to send you those autographed reference comics. Very cool

He’s such an underrated villain. Wish the Bat writers would use him more

This is the correct answer. I honestly couldn’t believe what Marvel did to Tony back then

My first exposure to IM was the JRJR/Layton era. When they introduced the Stealth armor everyone went nuts and you couldn’t find a copy. But there’s something so cool about the SC armor that I love

Yeah, see he knocked it out of the park on that book. I didn’t think his GL was as good. I don’t know, I think for me, it just fits certain books better

I remember always loving John’s art though, even as a young kid. His work was just powerful and engaging. Didn’t get Sal’s until much later

I like Eaglesham’s art. Don’t love it, but I like it. Sometimes it really fits a book

It was definitely Sal Buscema for me. I just couldn’t understand what others saw that I was missing. But over the years I started to really appreciate his work and how cool it is

Yeah, they completely forgot about him

comicmaniac.bsky.social @comicmaniac.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

Yep, and then DC basically ditched him afterwards. Hasn’t been in much as far as I know

Sal’s the man! I always thought it was cool when they had the Vision/Wonder Man dichotomy going
