Got some decent work done on the boyz tonight. Jeans and leather is done on all of them, and started in on the blue metal bits. #Warhammer40k #Warhammer #40k #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer #Orktober #wip #nerdlings #miniatures #minipainting #orks

It's okay Gail, I'm also not having fun at NYCC... Because there's no way I'll ever be able to afford to go.

They probably do. That kind of competitiveness can be funny. Just look at season 20 with Maise Adams. I still remember the "pull something from one red green to the other" task and the studio banter surrounding it. Hilarious!

Couchman @comfycouchman.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

It also doesn't help when Chloe lets their competitiveness get the better of them. That kind of thing usually isn't a problem, but when you're putting it on top of the already existing apathy and orneriness, it feels a lot less funny. That being said, Chloe is a delight when they're not like that.

People do not understand how men who are white supremacists can have wives who are women of color and I need folks to realize that those men see their wives as subordinate property and not equals. These men are foaming at the mouth to bring back quadroon balls.

Another classic, not sure if I've already posted this one here.

The image is a six panel black and white comic.

Panel 1 - a girl sits at her desk in front of a computer, looking disheartened. She says, "I dont know if I should post this art, who would even want to see it?"

Panel 2- A new person bursts through the door in the background with a loud BAM

Panel 3- The new person pushes the girl out of the way, smushing her face in the process, while slamming their fist down on the keyboard.

Panel 4- The computer shows that the art has been posted

Panel 5- The person makes direct eye contact with the girl while pushing their finger against their own phone screen

Panel 6- A motion blur is added to the last panel, enhancing the impact of the new notifications on the new post. It reads, "(Friend) Liked Post just now" Followed by "(Friend) commented 'I FUCKING LOVE THIS AND I LOVE U'"

Underneath the last panel is a watermark that reads, Shubbabang

Boyz are coming along. Original plan was to paint em up as my usual Deathskulls, but with black leather instead of brown... but part of me is debating painting them as Evil Sunz or Bad Moons. #Warhammer40k #Warhammer #40k #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer #Orktober #WIP #nerdlings #miniatures

Yeah, I'm not exactly thrilled with GW discontinuing the buggies... but I 100% get it. Although I'm sad because I never managed to pick up a shokkjump dragster, and the scrapjet is my favorite of the buggies (the only one I own 2 of).

I'm kinda curious how it is in the new edition. Oh sure, I've looked at its stats, but I have no real concept for if something is actually good or not. I know it's expensive as hell to get in the game though, so I'd hope so.

I'm not naive enough to actually believe this will happen, but Democrats could be preparing, right now, lists of impeachment charges against (at a bare minimum) Hegseth, Kennedy, Mullin, Patel, Blanche, & Trump, as well as Bondi, Bovino, & Noem (still worth doing!) that rely purely on public facts,

Even after the prep is done, I'm lacking in the cash to pick up any more ork models at the moment, so we're gonna be doing some repaints. I'm currently working on one of my 2 megatrakk scrapjets. It's mostly done, although one of the big front spikes got knocked off and I can't find it 😞
