I hate it when I can't be creative for a while, because I always feel like there's grit in the gears when I pick things back up again. I managed to update/expand on three pages of material this morning, and it was a good session, but I wish I could do more before starting to feel addled...

Alright, I've been sitting on this post for a minute now, but a few weeks ago there was a post going around in the TTRPG circles about whether people should or shouldn't consider carrying capacity during play, how to classify weight limits, etc. You know how these go, it's an evergreen topic. Worth noting that the Title IX rules that were rescinded didn't include protections for trans student athletes, because Biden withdrew that part on his way out of office. That didn't stop McMahon from framing it that way though.

The Biden administration on Dec. 20 withdrew a proposed rule that would have extended Title IX protections to transgender student athletes, acknowledging that public sentiment and legal challenges made finalizing the rule too difficult.

“It’s exactly how we enforce Title IX,” McMahon said in a video released over the weekend. “It was boys in boys sports and girls in girls sports, and now the Biden rules and regulations are being rescinded and it is a full return to the Trump administration’s Title IX ruling, as has been upheld by many courts.”

Long day today, even though it felt like not much got done. I can't wait to get back to making art again. I miss it so much. Quite annoyed with every article about how "AI" "broke out" and hacked an important government system or other company's database. They wrote programs designed to steal and regurgitate data. We know this. They advertise those capabilities. The programs are literally just following their programming.

Down to 54 minutes before re-timing, but there're a fair few things that I want to re-record, both in narration and dialogue. This episode really is a doozy. Serves me right for trying out a new production method.

Lot of franken-clips in this episode, but they're all blending really nicely. Plus it's allowing me to crank Gerhard and Nora's smugness up in post, which is a neat trick.
