HK’s Environment Protection Dep’t says the wastewater will be too diluted by the time it hits HK to cause damage, so that is reassuring. But if you followed all the official hysteria and state media fear-mongering around the release of treated wastewater from Fukushima, it is also extremely ironic.

These sorts of comparisons are still too sensational. As long as citizens in small-town America aren't being beaten to death in show trials for being "anti-MAGA", and news editors aren't jumping to their deaths for criticizing Trump, the US is NOT doing its own version of the "Cultural Revolution."
