I've found that the struggle with loan words usually hits around the intermediate stage. They've learned how to pronounce a word they already know in their acquired language and internalize that as "correct" instead of "different" But "correct" is the pronunciation of the language you're speaking

This is awesome. I'm glad that graphic novel versions of so many works exist now! I'm also dyslexic and would like to add that audio books are awesome. Some books I would never get through reading with my eyes but have been very important to me after listening to them.

I liked the concept of how the aliens evolved and their culture with the unstable system....also the wallfacer concept was an interesting answer of how can you plot against an enemy who can see/hear everything. (This is all from the books though)
