I had a great day out at @nlheritage.bsky.social Summerlee Museum with students from St Margaret’s in Airdrie exploring their industrial collections! We were lucky to get the chance to peak behind the scenes, and get hands on with their collections!

Last week we were out with DYW LED at @cofgcollege.bsky.social and New College Motherwell for their STEM Festival events with S2-3s from North Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire, exploring how archaeologists reconstruct foodways, identity and Roman - Indigenous relations in Iron Age Scotland.

We worked with some great young people through the DYW in Glasgow’s East End and Southside to record what their local archaeology meant to them
