Whole Earth peanut butter in a ‘drizzler’ 👎🏻I like the brand and am ok giving it a good stir rather than have it emulsified. Doable in a jar but really awkward with the drizzler so you just end up with oiled bread. Plus it’s a plastic container, not glass. Here endeth today’s consumer advice.

Saddened by the news our friend Bill Oddie has passed away. We spent many happy days birding with Bill on his beloved Fair Isle and here in Shetland and his books in the 1980s inspired us and a generation of young birders. Since then he has inspired millions to appreciate nature. A true legend.

Not a stile, but I am quite partial to a bit of tinsheddery. This from deepest Sutherland.

A very small corrugated metal shed that is gradually rusting and decaying. There's a door, window frame that is rectangular but patched up with an oval shaped window. It's sited on a slight hill with vegetation around.

@tutty352.bsky.social visited the dig at Carlisle Cricket club yesterday - they’ve uncovered a very nice piece of wall. Today is the last day for a while and much of it will be filled in again. So many finds indicating it was a very important place yet they seem to struggle with funding 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t know if you can make out the slightly odd effect with this line of white cloud against a deep blue sky. They look like they are wisping over the tops of a high mountain range, but it’s just the shape of their lower edges #clouds #weather
