Summary:

Humming, Ann rummages through her own purse for a small, rattling container. "Mint?"

Mika stops herself from cupping her hand over her mouth and nose to check her breath. "Are you trying to tell me something?"

"It's called sharing, Mika-chan." Ann pops a mint into her mouth and holds out the open container.

Mika pinches one of the mints between her nails, brings it up to her mouth, and gives it a quick lick. Shamelessly sweet. "Wow, Ann-chan, these aren't even sugar-free. You must be really confident in your exercise routine."

"Life's way too short for sorbitol." Ann leans her face in close, even more shameless, and eats the mint right out of Mika's hand.

God, it's almost too easy with her.

Mika hatches a cunning plan to steal Ann's latest modeling gig.

[normal voice] 2/2 isn’t sad. it isn‘t a tragedy. it’s a triumph, it’s a vindication, it’s an AWAKENING. it’s rejecting falsehood, rejecting manipulation, taking charge of your own future side by side. and they both know it and I don’t believe either of them has any doubts that night.

i don’t think akechi loves joker, he only thinks their souls are intertwined and they are each other’s perfect match and they are the only ones who can defeat the other and anything that might come between them would be an affront to god and nature and also he really wants to punch him sexually

I'm replaying P5R with my sister, and I had forgotten how WILD the Akechi dialogues were. #p5 #p5r

Comic starts with a panel of Akechi, saying "I- I didn't want to start an argument." Next panel shows Akechi again, but smiling and holding an index finger to his mouth. He says, "I just can't help myself sometimes." The next panel shows Sumire and Joker sitting at a table in the cafe. Sumire says "O-Oh! That's okay, Akechi-san!"

A panel of Akechi, smiling, says "Let's change the subject to something a bit lighter." Each subsequent panel of Akechi zooms in while the background gets darker. The last panel shows a slightly zoomed out image of Joker on a dark background, with the word "Liar" written in white.

A digital illustration of the Persona 5 characters Ren Amamiya (Joker) and Goro Akechi, out on the Tokyo street in the snow. Joker has an umbrella. It's nighttime. Akechi holds his ungloved hand up as he walks away with his briefcase. The style is painterly.

Akechi/Haru marriage of convenience enemies to still enemies. They hate each other. They are bearding for each other. Akechi is very charming to the board of directors & Haru likes how she has all the money and so all the power. Makoto has concerns. Ren has not voiced any. Maybe they’ll have a baby!

it’s such a shame that the video game persona 5 has a bug where adult women apparently hit on a teenage protagonist when what the game ACTUALLY meant to happen was that they all ask joker for sojiro’s phone number

Title: Our Drowning Palace
Summary:
Even if Ren closed his eyes, he knew he would still see all that blood, dark and thick and still. His heart pounded. He had to shout just to be heard over it. "Can you hear me, Shido? Listen to me!"
Mona yowled, "Joker, calm down and—"
"I'm going to make you pay for what you did to him!" Ignoring Mona's protests, Ren raised his voice higher and made every word echo from the steel walls: "You're going to wake up every morning wishing you could kill yourself to apologize to Goro Akechi!"
As the reverberations faded, over the sound of his own loud breaths, Ren heard his phone chirp, "Candidate found."
There's no way that Akechi could have survived the events of the engine room. Ren goes back for him anyway.

get ready for The Happiness Game! tonight's guests: the fic writer, me! my amazing partner and illustrator, @engraved.bsky.social! and of course our dear reader, you! yes, you! and your host, @akeshuakeevents.bsky.social! they've been here the whole time. archiveofourown.org/works/741583...

A zoomed out view of a room in Maruki's Palace. It's completely destroyed, with chairs upended and broken helmets and wires strewn everywhere. In the middle of it sits Joker, his head hidden in his hands. Goro stands over him at a distance. The text on the image reads: "The Happiness Game."

Fun fact: our group chat was named "torture chamber" if you want an idea of what you're getting into (2/2) Please check out the fic here: archiveofourown.org/works/741583... #myart #akeshu #akeshuake #akatbb2025 @akeshuakeevents.bsky.social

Goro faces the viewer, surrounded by smiling helmets as he wears a broken and cracked one on his head. He has a pleasant smile on his face and he's wearing his Detective Prince school uniform. The text on the image reads 'You came for me, Ren.'

Goro and Ren are locked in a mockery of a waltz, with Ren holding Goro's hand out and away from him and Goro leaning in close to Ren's face. They're both blushing and Ren looks close to tears as Goro murmurs to him. The text on the image reads, 'Oh, that's gorgeous. I love that miserable look on your face.'

A zoomed out view of the Brainwashing Vestibule. It's completely destroyed, with chairs upended and broken wires strewn everywhere. In the middle of it sits Joker, his head hidden in his hands. Goro stands over him at a distance.
