Trials within Cohorts (#TwiCs) is an innovative study design that embeds randomized trials directly within ongoing cohort studies. The Swiss HIV Cohort Study (#SHCS) — a well-established, nationwide cohort — has now implemented the TwiCs design for the first time in Switzerland.
