ZZ Top's Frank Beard died today. Many people have expressed their condolences. Many others have unleashed the dad joke chestnut "the only member of ZZ Top without a beard was named Frank Beard. Crazy, right?" I guess a corny joke in Creem magazine circa '78 really stuck with them.

1. Haley was sitting congressperson since 2018 (mid term) win, but also rather ineffectual for the seat. 2. Abdul was county's health director and helped payoff medical debt 3. a shit ton of money was dropped here. YT commercials even teens saw, mailed lit daily.

I spoke with my 88yo aunt yesterday and she mailed her ballot in for Abdul. We definitely don’t want to get cocky or let our foot off the gas, because there are posts in Michigan Republican groups telling MAGA to vote for Haley Stevens to prevent Abdul. Michigan’s open primary allows that.
