Superb. Claire has allowed me to use this on the @knowledge-hub.bsky.social blog too. We're aiming to give blogging a boost and are particularly interested in classroom facing stuff like this. If you've got something you want us to share please let them (me) or me (me) know!

This is good. I do think that generally practice is probably better than it was with a lot of big fights won, but it isn't healthy for a system not to have critique and we do now seem to have less. Also teaching can get better and teachers writing about their classrooms is how this happens.

I don’t know much about life. But if I can offer one piece of advice about raising boys it’s this… Don’t chase them. If you need them for something, sit down as if you’re about to enjoy a nice drink. They will find you. If you want some peace, ask them if they want to help you with a job. Gone.

CLOSING SHOP THIS MORNING. A Year in Willerby - 12 stories from a haunted village. Discounted to £15. A nice way to support the village if you enjoy the stories. Self published, limited edition, locally printed. Order for summer reading if want a copy before September. www.etsy.com/shop/Welcome...
A copy of the willerby book propped against a pottery lamp and next to a pint of Very Good Beer in a dimple mug.The strange, weird and odd world of Willerby in book form, what more could you want. A smashing collection of the stories of Willerby, interspersed with black and white lino illustrations. The personalised letter from “The Village” is a very nice touch.A beautifully presented book of uniquely creative stories. This is art in its truest form, from the writing to the illustrations to the printed publication. Truly a treasure to read and hold onto. Looking forward to future editions!A Year in Willerby is a delightfully haunting and eerie collection of short stories. Gibbert Cross is so unsettling I’m never visiting a service station at night ever again! I shed a little tear at the beautiful Ghosts Everywhere. Add to your TBR pile immediately
