Was this not a once off convoy operation, rather than the straits actually opening? Even then two ships in the convoy had to be abandoned? With the convoy being supplied from Diego Garcia, 3500 km away. Time will tell but this seems more an unsustainable PR piece for Trump

I recall the run up to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. 190k troops on maneuver on the border for months beforehand. Any form of big attack would be massively telegraphed. Hybrid? Not so.
