@datedateline.bsky.social Let’s talk BIDETS!!! You can buy them on Amazon for like $50-$100 each. They install easily and quickly. They are LIFECHANGING. It squirts your nether regions and cleans it all. Then dab with paper to dry. Wonderful during your period. Both our toilets have them.

My squatty potty and bidet combo. A white toilet with a small stool for the feet and a bidet attached to the side. Perfect pooping every time.

I just learned how to make my corners and joins flatter. It’s called spinning seams. I started sewing my scraps together to try it out. They’re so FLAT. I can’t stop sewing them because ironing that seam open is so satisfying. I wish I learned this before I did the baby quilt with all those HSTs.

It’s the back side of a quilt block called a four patch. The colors of the blocks are fuchsia and white. The seams are opened at the join of all 4 corners such that the bulk of the seam is evenly distributed. The join itself looks like a little checkerboard. Everything here is satisfying and adorable.

Finally finished Round 2 of this quilt! I made the first one slightly wrong and I decided to remake it. I’m super glad I did. I think it looks leaps and bounds better. See Round 1 in the comments. #QuiltSky

The leaves are finally turning here in Dallas! Went to the park today and got some nice photos. The birds were not as cooperative as the trees.
