I’m flying from Hawaii to Philly for the Cowboys game. I have confidence that the Eagles can win for sure. I’m just asking as a favor that it be a little less heart stopping than yesterday. Lol. But no matter what I LOVE them. GO BIRDS!!!!!

Hurricane Lowell is kicking up the wind. About to go to bed. I think the strongest winds are on their way.

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Wind is kicking up a bit here in Kapolei. Hurricane Lowell has more in store for us over night. Hopefully not too bad and everyone stays safe.

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

We’re supposed to get more wind soon here on Oahu from Hurricane Lowell.

Almost (3) years to the day since I stopped working and I just tried to enter my work computer password to log into my personal computer at home. Meanwhile I can’t remember passwords I set up a week ago.

Not too bad at 5:00pm. It’s supposed to get worse for Oahu over night. Wind is kicking though.

000

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

On Oahu in Kapolei we’ve got light rain and wind at 10am. Hurricane Lala is supposed to go back to a tropical storm by the time it goes over Oahu. I hope everyone in Hawaii stays safe.

Storm is coming and just waiting to see how bad it’s gonna be. Made some homemade Chinese food last night (beef stir fry w/cake noodles and crispy gau gees). If the power holds up today I’m making a Hungarian mushroom soup. Hopefully no flooding and our roof doesn’t get ripped off either. & Go Birds

Last night went to a friends house for a dinner party. I didn’t take pics of it all I made. Accidentally bought ramen noodles to make cake noodles. Now I know how that tastes lol. Spinach artichoke dip. Beef stir fry w/cake noodles. Crispy gau gees (no pic). Mushroom soup. Ginger snaps (no pic)

My ramen cake noodles. I was on autopilot and got the noodles I buy for shabu shabu haha.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup. Besides the dip & my lasagna, I think this is the most requested dish I make.

@joshmankiewicz.bsky.social @datedateline.bsky.social I just came across this ad and it made me think of the Hawaiian Mike episode. I’m sure these companies have existed for a long time but I’ve never come across one in the wild.

I meant to post this last week. We went to a Murder Mystery style Party themed in the early 1800s. I was a drunk debutante & Isaac was a poor man looking to marry rich. Again. So basically a Dateline ep in the making. @joshmankiewicz.bsky.social @haleydeanna.bsky.social @icookfood2023.bsky.social

At a Murder Mystery Party in the early 1800s. I’m Miss Isalotta Falls. Isaac is Mr Cassius Poore.

I’m in pain every day for different reasons so for the most part I’m used to it. I don’t like it but I live with it. Today I’ve had a pain that I rarely have, for about 4 hours now!!!, and I’m ready to cry over it. When I occasionally do get this pain it usually only lasts a few minutes. 😩 😢

I need to know how I got on a Republican only and Miami Dolphins mailing list/texting list??? I know during campaign season I’ll get stuff from randos but the Miami Dolphins? Because I was happy to get Jaelan Phillips from them? Omg 😆 GO BIRDS!!!!!

I have to stop eating at 9:00am for an appointment at 1:00pm. My mom has an appointment at the same hospital at 4:00pm. So my whole day is gone basically.

I bought this book from Historic Newspapers because I want all things Eagles 🦅. It’s pretty cool and I had a nice chuckle at come of these stories including these two from 1979 and 1999

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

One of my besties found these and got them for me. Probably because I won’t shut up about loving the Eagles 🦅. I didn’t know we had merch in Hawaii too. Gonna be on the lookout everywhere I go now. Go Birds!!!

Earthquake on the Big Island last night but we felt it here on Oahu. My house shook. Was only about 5 seconds though.

Yesterday I picked some mustard greens from my garden for dinner. I only had bacon so cooked them up together. Then I took a few bite of steak from the ribeye that I made for Isaac. Delicious. 😋

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

Last night I made shrimp pasta. I got distracted and overcooked the pasta a bit. But the flavor was very good. Tonight I made ribeye with salad and potatoes au gratin. I’ve been going so deep in my hobbies to avoid real life. I really gotta cook more at home. Especially after our trip.

Deleting things on my camera roll and I came across this gem from a conversation I had with my mom.

Someone tell me why I thought us making potatoes au gratin, boneless kalbi, ribeye steak, baked chicken, broccoli, shrimp boil, and rice might not be enough food for (8) people lol 🤦🏻‍♀️. I also made spinach artichoke dip and ginger snap cookies.

I enjoyed painting this model and seeing it come together.

020

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

I worked on this for a wedding gift. It’s got the added details of shadow depth. I like how it shows the details in Chloe’s hair and in Caleb’s shirt. I’m so glad I was able to do this for them. They’re really cute together.

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

I did this book art for myself. Since our wedding colors were red, white, and black, I painted the car, Isaac, and myself to make it pop.

I listen to audiobooks & podcasts when I’m working on my hobbies. Got this one lined up and it’s about PHROGGING! But I guess it’s exploring the idea of what if the phrogger isn’t the worst criminal in the case? @datedateline.bsky.social @joshmankiewicz.bsky.social

Lots going on in the world more important for sure. And I trust Howie. But my anxiety needs to know who the Eagles will have at Edge and Safety now with Phillips and Blankenship gone?

I woke up to this news and I’m so sad. I wanted him back on the Eagles so bad. But I’m happy for him and his family for the deal he got. That’s major. I’m glad I got my Jaelan Phillips jersey though.

@joshmankiewicz.bsky.social great episode on Friday. I wish I’d known Sue. Even though I love accounting work for my own weird reasons, I’d never think of it as fun. Would’ve liked to see how she made it fun. I did have fun once using my knowledge to solve a crime so there’s that.

I was craving shakshouka after loving it in CA so I made some. I didn’t have red bell pepper and I added an onion so don’t know if it technically counts but oh man it tastes so good. @joshmankiewicz.bsky.social

Not important but I meant to post what I brought to the Super Bowl party we went to. I made crispy gau gees and spinach artichoke dip and my mom fried chicken for us. The food at the party was the best part about the football game. Go Birds! We got next year.

I’ve followed the Eagles for a long time. Back in the McNabb days. Through the high hopes of getting Vick & thinking we’d finally win. Through calling their 1st SB win halfway through the season. I’m so glad to live through the J Hurts era & don’t want to know a football world where he’s not our QB1

For the record I still love my team. And QB1. And everyone on the team except KP. I need more Jaelan Phillips and Tank Bigsby. Especially when I go to a Philly game at the Linc.

020

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

I shed a couple tears. Omg I can’t believe we wasted this roster on Kevin Patullo. And I feel so bad for Tank and Jaelan Phillips. I feel nauseated 😩 I guess it’s up to your Rams @joshmankiewicz.bsky.social to win the Super Bowl Omg Im going through all the stages of grief at once except acceptance

Even though I never got to have one of my dream jobs of solving crimes, I do get to solve mysteries on a weekly basis. I get to get in the mind of my husband as I try to work out where he left something when it’s not in its designated spot. Makes life interesting.

Stella Sumaoang @stellasubok.bsky.social · 02/01/2026

We went fishing yesterday with the poles Isaac gifted us. We had a nice time. Isaac is the only one who caught anything (as usual) but they were only babies and we threw them back.

New Year’s Eve we went to my friends house for the fireworks show & I cooked for everyone. We brought bairdi crab, ribeyes, scallops, potatoes au gratin, roasted asparagus, and I made crispy gau gees to snack on while I cooked. Oh and a chocolate cake. Everyone loved it and I’m still tired & sore 😂.
