This is priceless. Check out how local news is reporting on Sen Eric Schmidt’s clown-show grilling of Jack Smith. They found Jack Smith at the game… “Top corner, section 109, row 1. In fact, that seat doesn’t even exist in Atlanta.”

Sen. Dick Durbin, top-ranking Judiciary Democrat, reacts to Eric Schmitt's moment, calling it "so embarrassing" for the institution. "We want to get the facts straight. I'm sorry the senator said that." Durbin, a 30-year incumbent, says he's never seen an error like that before.

Once again, competitors (and their media) draw the wrong causal arrows. The Brewers succeed by making *good baseball decisions* using market size as a smokescreen, not by selling off players for the sake of doing so. A salary cap is meaningless in these decisions. Glad nobody realizes this though!

Bernie Williams approached a grieving woman and told her< "I don't know what to say, but it looks like you could use a hug"

The Braves are 48-24 at Truist Park. Everywhere else? 35-33. That’s WAY too big a difference to simply shrug and say “home-field advantage.” So I went digging through wRC+, strikeouts, barrels, expected stats, park factors and individual splits looking for an explanation. I found something. ⬇️

Why Are the Braves So Much Better at Home?
The Braves have protected their house in 2026. The reason why might have less to do with Truist Park than what they're doing inside it.

Arte Moreno bought the Angels in 2003 (the year after they won the Series) for $184 million. He then spent 23 years running them into the ground, let the stadium decay, wasted Trout and Ohtani, and sold for $4 billion. And the owners are crying poverty and threatening to kill baseball next year.
