Contrary to the contemptuous replies to this post, low vax uptake is the inevitable outcome of a multi-year campaign to minimize sickness, disability and death and force people back into work and school with no mitigations. Why would you protect yourself from something that isn't dangerous?

Yes, those of us in public health understand "trade offs" and it's factored in when formulating guidance. However the term "trade offs" has been hijacked and weaponized during COVID by the rich and privileged to try and make it socially acceptable to let marginalized people suffer.
