y'all might have heard about the 1 bil uncle phil's monies to uo and also the 65 mil budget deficit and maybe the Big Arts Merge Plan so the 65 mil is a separate thing from the Big Merge and will happen regardless whether BM happens as per now, we dont know if somd will have 5, 10, or 15% cut

(lol idk why im posting this) based on the latest CBAs: our GE's min salary floor for 1.0 FTE is 51,627. our adjunct's min salary floor for 1.0 FTE is 46,800. it's cheaper to hire adjuncts, esp. if the adjuncts are hired with <0.5 FTE (no benefits). all our GEs (FTE capped at 0.49) get benefits.
