I’ll start. Last night we had a nice campfire and roasted some hot dogs and marshmallows. I thoroughly enjoyed that. Getting the fire started was a little challenging but once it got going, it was pretty great.

It is the old story of the frog in the pot. If the heat is turned up slowly, the frog is cooked without even realizing what has happened.

I don't think people fully comprehend what is happening. We are being priced out of luxury. We are being priced out of normal. a house, car, groceries, childcare, insurance. These weren't extravagant expenses 20 years ago.

It’s so easy to tell someone who is struggling to reach out for help, but when I was at that point, the only “help” I got was getting locked up for a week, which only served to make things so much worse.

I wish you the best with recovering and moving forward! I know how much it sucks. I’m chronically ill and spent most of the last year and a half living in a car with my wife. Thankfully we were able to get an RV to live in, but the effects of being broke and homeless are still catching up to me.
