First time I met Nikki was after a gig, I was a very nervous 19yo fan. Had a chat, then Nikki passed me his mandolin, showed me a couple of chords, and then grabbed his guitar and played a few songs with me. Such a cool thing to do for a young fan 💜

Should anyone ask about my musical journey I tend to say it started with glam rock. But that’s not strictly true. 1972, 11 years old and I heard #BuddyHolly for the first time. Soon after I owned this very cassette. Not, for me at least, the day the music died.
