This morning, we are writing to all members of the Welsh Senedd demanding action on the silent killer that is exit block. Too many patients are coming to harm, or even dying, because of a lack of beds caused by hospitals struggling to discharge patients. This must change.

The US has the highest maternal mortality of any developed country … and it’s about to get a lot worse. Why? Pregnant women are afraid to go to the hospital for care. They’re labouring at home alone because ICE will grab them as soon as they give birth. This is dystopian.

It's wild to me is so few people who are not Disabled include Disability in their politics at all. Current proposed cuts are based on 3 baseless zombie ideas 1. There is somehow a 'correct' amount of Disabled people who need support 2. Disability can be precisely measured 3. Spending is too high

Rough sleeping to be decriminalised in England and Wales. 1824 law to be repealed. About time. Must attend to causes of homelessness - poverty, power of landlords, low benefits. Must provide public shelters for those on hard times, reintegrate people on hard times.

Overnight, Israel bombed homes and tents in Gaza, killing nearly 100 people. Our government should have acted long ago to prevent this genocide by sanctioning Israel, ending arms sales, and upholding international law. The longer we fail to act, the more our complicity grows.
