Without going into details I have had to support people through hearing loss, loss of appetite cos they can’t taste their food, losing their voice, losing their job, losing their company if they are a sole trader… You think this can’t happen to you?

I am rarely affected by discourse on social media, but the current wave of posts asserting that Long Covid is psychosomatic has angered me. To be very clear: if you're asserting that LC isn't a physical disease, you're ignorant of science. End of.

The statement and its timing seems to imply that the Australian Government was unaware of the breech prior to being informed by OpenAI. Relying on a hacker to tell you you've been hacked is a very unserious security posture. If this is true, heads should roll.

Intending to write another column about the treatment of #ME/CFS patients this week, pegged to new research findings on the biological basis. My question for sufferers: Are any of you still being offered inappropriate (psych/GET etc) "treatments"? Please email george at monbiot dot info. Thanks.

The fact that he starts with "What I'd say" is 🧑‍🍳👌 It's like he's reading from a parody script of himself, and then you open the clip and you're like "no, he really did say it exactly like that"

Some of y'all forget the reason we have food safety regulations is because companies used to do things like adding chalk to spoiled milk so it looked normal.
Regulations don't exist because governments enjoy them. They exist because pure unadulterated capitalism would kill us.

Lovely sentiment, sadly untrue. So much wrong with our elections - no time off to vote, massive lines many places, districts drawn by politicians picking their voters, electoral college, urban folks having so much less say than rural (Senate), massive $ in politics./1

Harvard Health Publishing:
What are the risks of testosterone therapy?
A relatively small number of men experience immediate side effects of testosterone supplementation, such as acne, disturbed breathing while sleeping (worsening sleep apnea), breast swelling or tenderness, or swelling in the ankles. Doctors also watch out for high red blood cell counts, which could increase the risk of clotting.
