when you bake chocolate chip cookies and you pull them out of the oven and the edges are golden brown but the rest of the cookie is still pale brown and they're very soft and you think "i should cook these for another couple of minutes" DO NOT DO IT. THAT IS THE DEVIL SPEAKING. TAKE THEM OUT NOW.

I'm having difficulties--the truck that I use for driving the disabled people that I work with needs its transmission rebuilt, I've been out of work for two weeks because of it. Please share if you can. www.gofundme.com/f/aid-for-ch...

Oh, so like in the late 19th Century when ballet was something you threw on between the acts of your opera so the men in the audience could see some bare legs?

Chris Irregardless @chrisirregardless.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

"Half An Orange" has a jaunty melody that is backed by a stretched-out version of itself and is increasingly attacked by and substituted with noise. It ends up being blown away by the wind. "The Quilt Queen's Journey" Scroll, bow, knife, hourglass, kite, dragonfly, and basket.

Is that just for the Vatican Roulette method (the purely calendar-based method), or other forms of natural family planning such as examining mucus or keeping track of body temperature? The latter are much closer to the 8% figure, but still not effective enough for preventing pregnancy.

You were told not to cite it because it's an encyclopedia, not because it's user-edited. Encyclopedias summarize sources, they're not a primary source themselves for academic purposes.

An email that appears to have come from the real Social Security administration. Which until now had been considered a non-partisan federal agency. Time for another look at 'The Origins of Totalitarianism.'

Email from Social Security Administration saying "Social Security Applauds Passage of Legislation Providing Historic Tax Relief for Seniors." As if it were a MAGA campaign mailer.

More from Social Security making Trump talking points.

I used to be pretty sceptical about the right's chances of "becoming the counter-culture" cos they were so bad at the artforms said counter-culture used, until I realised the plan was simply to outright replace them with hustling, gambling, protein shakes and yelling about bullshit

happy first birthday to Bluesky, and what a year it's been! with every day, the need for an open network that puts people first becomes increasingly clear. we're glad to be building this with you. after all, the heart of a social network is the people.

Popular meme format, grandma labeled with "bluesky's public launch was one year ago today." Younger person helping her labeled with "sure grandma let's get you to bed."
