I don't think that's really a good comparison. Because at least DX is still Sonic Adventure. While Gens is not Unleashed. So I don't think a recomp PC port of SA1 is needed, but a decomp is always awesome to have just to be able to look into the game's code.

Just quickly clicking through, it's a shame there aren't video versions of his art that used color cycling. They still look really nice when static, but the palette cycling makes them stunning to look at.
