Sadly Ash Dieback work has wiped out a strip of Early Purple Orchids. I also know 2 South Downs Birds-nest Orchid sites and a White Helleborine site lost in the last 2 -3 years. Checking the Biodiversity Records Centre data would save orchids! @southdownsnp.bsky.social @sussexwildlife.bsky.social
