A lot of clubs fans can tend to see billionaire take overs as all good. Not always the case. Leicester were great for 2 or 3 years. Then it went pear shaped. Turns out Man City cheated their way to the top & Everton up for sale after 2 years. Man Utd have nose dived. It’s not always a success

Absolutely I want rid of him. But there no guarantee it wouldn’t be worse. I’d feckin hope not. That’s my point. I’d still have my heart in my mouth about any prospective new owner. Unless they were also a die hard Celtic fan. If they’re not then we’re simply just another business to them.

Exactly. We wouldn’t be immune to that kinda stuff either. And these guys look to get a quick return and I’d bet they wouldn’t be that particular about who they sold it onto as long as they were getting their money back or a small profit. Then you don’t know who the fecks hands the club falls into

If a sale ended up with a large investor/ share holder scooping up a majority share holding. I don’t know how possible / easy that would be. I have my doubts about how long rangers owners will hang around before moving on

If I was an Evertonian I’d be concerned that the owners are selling up after only 2 years in charge. 😳 Some of these clubs’ sales are coming home to roost with billionaires getting bored. Look at Leicester. I want rid of the Desmond’s but I’d be holding my breath about who’d come next. Especially

Fact: Pre devolution Scotland had the highest concentration of most deprived wards in the UK. That continued under the post-devolution 'Scottish' Labour led Scottish Executive. Under an SNP Scottish Govt that was reversed. England now hosts most of the most deprived. Not a pro-SNP take just facts?

They’re all much the same price ffs. A penny less here or there wouldn’t be worth travelling for. Different if there were big differences in price between the various petrol stations but there aren’t. Completely nonsensical advice.

Yeah. I remember as a kid watching documentaries about the nazis and seeing school children standing up in class, placing their hand over their heart and singing their national anthem. Flags everywhere and it was made out to be something quite sinister. But then US kids doing the same is encouraged.

This is a test case for these maniacs. Live stream the execution of a foreign national by firing squad. if the people accept it then before they know it the parameters will be widened until they’re doing it to their own citizens. Prime time TV awaits.

Yup. A lot of this stuff is dirt cheap To produce. The mark up is huge. Years ago I worked in a gents outfitters. One year they got wee winter jackets in for 4-5olds. The mums loved them. They were £2.50 cost. And sold for £22.95. We couldn’t get enough of them. Loads of stuff like that

Yup. We all know it goes on. Folk moan about worker exploitation and say it’s shocking, but conveniently forget this stuff when they’re out in town and getting a bargain. Pass any Primark at the weekend and it’ll be heaving.

She lived up the back of Drumchapel in the early 70’s. Lilyburn Place. I used to get the No9 corporation bus up there to visit my cousins. We’d play in the fields at the back near the water tower. Happy days. Great memories.
