Something weird happened to this video file but the timing of it kind of works. I've been adding new things to my set for my next gig. It's nice to play with new stuff. Next gig is at South Street Arts Centre in Reading - More Kicks than Friends - 5th September, 7:15pm. Free entry 🎶🎵

What is the point in setting up an AI-run account to start conversations with people if it can't even recognise stuff it's already said? 🙄

My sister took this photo of me. I could have removed the red eyes but I kind of like it. 😁 It was nice to spend time with family. It's something that takes a long time to plan because there is always something going on (on both sides).

I have been gathering my thoughts. I have a lot of nearly finished music. Gonna try and focus on finishing what I've got instead of going off on something new (I'm sure that will not last 😂).

I have been putting too much pressure on myself. It makes me productive for a while and then it becomes suffocating. I have slowed down the last couple of days and it has really helped me to be more calm. 🌼

Enjoyed a sunny gig at The Apothecary Tap in Banbury yesterday! To everybody that spoke to me afterwards, thank you for chatting, and for sticking around for my set. It was nice to do a gig that supported BARKS charity. 💜 Thanks to Rich for this photo! 📷

I forgot it was Bandcamp Friday this week and bought a bunch of music a few days ago. Whoops! 😆 Oh well, at least I bought it. Anyway, I'm gonna list what I bought. 😁

This year I've had a few firsts! First feature on Bandcamp's New & Notable and first ever plays on BBC Radio 6. First headline gig in Oxford. 🥹 I am quite hard on myself and have been awfully hard on myself this year (not sure why). I need to acknowledge stuff that has gone/is going well. 😁

New & Notable: The UK artist drapes layered vocal harmonies and art-rock instrumentation in wistful lo-fi synths to moody, mesmerizing results.

NHS 111 have been so helpful today. It was quick to get through and they said a GP would call within 2 hours. The GP called within 2 minutes, assessed my symptoms and booked me an appointment to see someone in person. 👍 D

I'm having the worst flare up of my RSI in ages, after a long stretch with very well managed symptoms. I don't know what to do with myself. 😅 There were so many things I was going to do on my days off but now I can't do them.

I have so much music to go through and finish. 😅 I am buzzed about it but I keep hopping from project to project and being very indecisive. My friend recorded some saxophone for a track of mine and I'm very excited. I felt I couldn't do the vocals until I had the saxophone.

A picture of my cat Zelda looking very concerned. She's sitting tall with her body twisted and pupils are dilated.

I dreamt that I was working on some sound design for a live set. I was creating a rack to hold objects that I had sampled sounds from (pots, pans etc). Every time I stretched a waveform, the object I'd gotten the sound from stretched too.
