Couple more for #ClasheWeekend that bsky hasn't seen yet. My first work for them! <Tastefully Scheming> 🥔 #Clashe (Claude/Ashe) 🥔Modern AU, Established Relationship, Fluff 🥔A dash of longing, a pinch of (attempted) spice 🥔Originally for Claude Rarepair Week '21 🥔 archiveofourown.org/works/33291703

An overhead shot of a person chopping jalapeno peppers on a cutting board, surrounded by other prepped ingredients. Text over the image reads, "Tastefully Scheming," and, "Claude/Ashe, rated G, two thousand words.

An attempt at angst but (I think) it still reads well. #ClasheWeekend [For Your Broken Dreams] *🏹 #Clashe *🏹 Canon Divergent (minor), Azure Moon, Angst with (eventual) Happy Ending *🏹 Canon typical injury, blood; Non-canon swearing *🏹 Complete, btw. *🏹LINK: archiveofourown.org/works/353211...

A fic promo image. A picture of a castle in the distance of an empty field. A plain green colored strip runs down the left side of the image. Text over everything reads: "For Your Broken Dreams," Claude/Ashe, Rated Teen, one thousand words, chapter one of two. Chapter one: Gronder.

Ashe screams a moment too late. The archer fires off one, two arrows in quick succession, piercing the soft underbelly of the wyvern. The creature howls in pain and falls to the ground with an earth shattering crash sending dust and dirt flying into the sky like a wave crashing upon the shore."

Sample: The throne room is already full when Imri enters it, already teeming with an infectious excitement that she finds herself immune to. She already knows that this is simply a formality, an excuse to celebrate for a kingdom that desperately needs one. There is no opulence in this makeshift capital—none of the legend and lore that would actually add weight to the occasion—but there is a certain magic that buzzes in the air, a crackling energy as children and elderly alike chatter in the shambles of a would-be estate. Though she doesn’t find herself in much of an emotional state at all, she can at least appreciate the emotion in others; it has been far too long, she knows, since these citizens had something even akin to hope t

The final battle is won, and Ashe and Byleth ride off happily into the sunset 🥹 The last AM run I’ll play before the new game is now complete! 💙

FE3H Azure Moon ending card for f!Byleth (Guardian of Order) and Ashe (Arrow of Justice).

When Byleth became the new archbishop of the Church of Seiros, Ashe served her faithfully—first as a knight and aide, and later as a husband. With help from Faerghus, the archbishop put much toward the rebuilding effort with particular attention paid to relief for orphans in the form of food, beds, and even schooling. It is said that these compassionate deeds were all Ashe's suggestions, but the modest knight always gave the credit to his beloved wife.

She tilted her head toward Jeralt, eyeing the way he skillfully reeled in his prize. “What am I supposed to do?” she asked.

Her father hummed. He caught a bullhead, quite the delicious catch that the chef would enjoy putting into his version of fish and bean soup. The fish flopped into their shared basket and its whiskers twitched as it heaved for oxygen. He slid the lid shut.

“You heard Seteth and Flayn,” he reminded. “Rule Fódlan or maybe even become Archbishop.” He paused, and Byleth was met with the full force of the brown of his eyes. “Are either of those things what you want?”

-

Or, Byleth chooses the Church. Everything is the same except Jeralt survives, and five years later, Byleth pays the price.
