I am vehemently opposed to the proposed Duke Energy rate hikes. Over the past 3 years, Duke Energy's rate hikes have far exceeded inflation, while the company has realized BILLIONS in profit. Not revenue - profit. BY LAW, Duke Energy is required to minimize costs to customers. Instead, it has chosen to maximize returns to shareholders at the expense of their customers.

I call on the Commission to do its job and protect the citizens of NC from Duke Energy's continued gouging of customers instead of the bidding of DE and its lobbyists.

I’m so blown that there’s not enough chatter about Alice Smith’s voice and longevity in this industry. A singer’s singer, and the body she brings to the song w/ her vocals is unmatched. I enjoyed hearing Brittany Howard round their vocals out, too. Very ancestral sounds coming outta them.
