Presenting my work on real-world outcomes for patients with mHSPC treated with enzalutamide at #BOPA2026 this year. If you've ever had doubts about the effect on outcomes of dose reducing, hopefully this will help to reassure! Patients on dose reductions did at least as well as those without.

#BOPA2026 Dare I ask if there is protected funding in secondary care. Should the Q have been sector agnostic? Most of us were disappointed that the Cancer plan didn't recognise the increased pressure caused by the numerous new approvals. There is no measure of delivery of any of this.
Question asking how protected cancer funding can be secured in primary care

Probably 18 months ago - maybe more - the fabulous team at #OpenPrescribing shared their beta of Open Hospital Prescribing one of the first things I did was take a look at CDK4/6i use to see if there was a noticeable shift in use - post OS data being published. Since then - we've been working on 👇🏻

The NYT says "it was too good to be true". They are right. Biologically it seemed implausible. A drug with a massive half life. With randomisation only apply to the first few doses. And now a load of research integrity questions. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

So what's the point of credentialling? It strengthens the profession. I hear far too many people say there's no point, they're already being paid at that level. But how do patients know a title means something? Employers need to be better at ensuring pharmacists are working at the right level
