I was going for "simple summer dress" and got carried away, now it feels classier and more like a formal dress. Oh well~ ...I really wanna play Dressmaker.

Ember wearing a somewhat simple black-to-purple gradient dress. Towards the bottom hem, the purple becomes partially transparent. The back is open, with a criss-cross of purple laces holding it together, that then wrap over the shoulders to make the straps. There are big, chunky boots, too, and Ember's hair is up in a simple bun with hair draping down a little. The outfit is kind of Xion (KHIII) and Aerith (FFVII) inspired.

The edge-crossing here is actually done across like, two pixels usually, but I'm sure corner snapping can work for this if you're going across a larger portion of the texture!

... this one I picked up from a talk about, I think, Guilty Gear! If you put the faces just so on the UV map, the lines come out super crisp no matter what! Granted, with me doing a low-res rendering anyway, it doesn't matter, but whatever, I like it so I do it

I do a sort of blend of a bunch of weird stuff for my models. Most of it is flat colors, but I draw parts here and there with simple pixel art, like the bottom of the shoes or the faces, etc. My favorite technique though is ... #gamedev #indiedev #midpoly #oc #scene #art #3Dmodel #blender

I have come up with a wonderful and very original idea

A doodle of two simplified characters speaking over the phone. A flip phone, specifically. They're in a video game, so the conversation is laid out so that each character has a portrait on the side, and the flip phone's screen is between them. Below them, you can read their dialogue.
"Is this a fucking code call?" The phone screen shows the contact, Deborah, along with her phone number, 420-1337, and the length of the call, 2m43s.
