I do a sort of blend of a bunch of weird stuff for my models. Most of it is flat colors, but I draw parts here and there with simple pixel art, like the bottom of the shoes or the faces, etc. My favorite technique though is ... #gamedev #indiedev #midpoly #oc #scene #art #3Dmodel #blender

I have come up with a wonderful and very original idea

A doodle of two simplified characters speaking over the phone. A flip phone, specifically. They're in a video game, so the conversation is laid out so that each character has a portrait on the side, and the flip phone's screen is between them. Below them, you can read their dialogue.
"Is this a fucking code call?" The phone screen shows the contact, Deborah, along with her phone number, 420-1337, and the length of the call, 2m43s.

Finally playing fabula Ultima, made our ffxiv characters First impressions: it's fun! I like how simple it is and many options to specialize your character. I played a guardian orator who made peoples dice bigger with a bit of healing and protecting them from damage :D

This design trend needs to stop before it gets worse... It interacts badly with my claustrophobia. It looks like I have stuff piled on top of other stuff. It feels like a mess I can't clean up and stresses me out. Just making a bar at the bottom was fine! Clean! It felt whole! #ui #ux #discord

Part of Discord's recent mobile UI update, where items at the bottom of the screen are now clearly layered OVER the rest of the menu, instead of being a complete UI object attached to the edge of the screen.

An example of a similar trend from recent Samsung UI updates, this time with the search bar (which is NOT a bottom-of-the-screen item anyway!!) covering up several settings listings.

Getting gradually closer to having the funds* to order 28 oc art commissions.... Is that even a thing people like. Do people like getting "hey you did so good on this, do you want to do it 27 more times" or would that be stressful and unbearable *all proceeds from my artwork go to this. It is slow.

Spoke to several people at Develop who have recently discovered that they are neurodiverse. Good for them! Basically though, if you are a videogame programmer and have had difficulties with some/many aspects of life since you were a kid, you probably are *something*. It's worth looking into it.
