i'm sure this will all work out fine
Mendoza’s campaign has hired a chief of content who co-founded a local creator hub called Renowned, while Giannoulias’ campaign is currently advertising a $6,500-a-month new media manager role for someone with “a phone full of Chicago creators” at their fingertips.

“This is the first municipal election cycle in Chicago where we’re seeing content creators be relied upon so heavily to communicate with voters,” said Joanna Klonsky, a local media strategist.

Also what does Ethics Reform even mean if there's nothing that merits removal from office? Does Rahm (or anyone else slinging this nonsense) think that the impoundment and the boat murders and the naked bribery and the illegal war will just stop because we wrote "new rules?" He wants toothlessness.

The funny thing about Rahm calling for Ethics Reform instead of impeachment is that he covered up a murder because he was worried it would hurt his mayoral reelection campaign. This is like how, after said murder was made public, he called for Ethics Reform for the police instead of accountability.

I think I would die of embarrasment if I failed so badly at shoving my foot back into my sneaker without bothering to untie and retie the laces that I needed someone to run onto the football field and shove my heel into the shoe on national television. Also without untying and retying the shoe.

Listen, if Ken Paxton wants to remind the whole nation that the GOP nominated a guy who give get out of jail free cards to rich paedos, let him. Run the adds in Iowa, Oklahoma, and Maine while you're at it.

Yes it's funny that Ken Paxton is running ads during a Bears/Jets game but it's even funnier that the content of the ads include soundbytes like "When missing person posters go up, Ken Paxton takes them down" as if he's hamburglering the flyers.

My HBO is bundled with two other streaming services, ad free, for about 1/3 of what it would cost to subscribe to all three individually on their respective ad tiers. The minute that bundle gets rescinded, I'm dropping HBO post skydance merger.

Ah yes, it's always Matthew 5:29-30 until one of the eagles' hands are sinning, isn't it? Is there a Pauline epistle that says "as long as the sinner is a member of a band I like or donates to a political party I favor, the sin is forgiven?"

No, that's the argument I wish I was making because it's easier for you to rebut. The argument I am making is that the formula you're using to decide who gets a pass breaks down when you compare the same moral injury between someone you're willing to defend and someone nobody is willing to defend.

I'm reminded of the cafe in my neighborhood that sold to a rival cafe when the owners decided to retire. Rival cafe kept it barely running for a year and then shuttered it, and cooked up a scheme that guaranteed the next business to take over the space not run a cafe citing "too much competition."

TN GOV is likely going to Marsha Blackburn but with news like this, and 19% undecided, it's not inconceivable that the people of Tennessee decide to elect a governor who won't call in the National Guard to kill them extrajudicially.

I think he wants to be impeached. I think the whole point was to divide us as much as possible and to chip away at the rule of law by doing flagrantly illegal things. He may be using the PAC as a personal piggy bank sure, but this one feels like he's using tax money because he knows its impeachable.

LRT I would go so far to say that in 2026 having any sense of taste requires the kind of empathy and acknowledgement of the existence of other peoples' feelings and views that more commonly features in leftwing ideology, and the aesthetics of the right are more a product of tradition than invention.

I was galled, though not surprised, that the guy running Vanity Fair thinks accountability is bad bc it’s unfriendly to those being held accountable. They should have to retreat “to their bunkers” for the distasteful things they say and do. Elon musk has killed many people! He should hide in shame!

A substantial amount of the movie's plot is out there already, its not hard to find and you don't have to go to any sketchy websites to see it. There's one particular consistently repeated leak that's dark, but more in the sense of "it's very dark you'd market a movie by pointing at that"
