"Return to Oz". The Wheelers were creepy, but Mombi & her collection of heads was just too much. I caught on that she was planning on adding Dorothy's head to the collection when she grew up. The idea that some witch was roaming around & could steal your head was nightmare fuel.

I was just thinking about how that state has such a problem when it comes to matters of sexuality due to the standard religious hangups, as well as most families never having those "awkward" conversations because of it. Mildly traumatized, mostly healing well. I was lucky that the dog bit down & didn't rip, so there weren't stitches necessary. Downside is he's large, so his fangs went deep. Three bites, thigh's all but healed. The glancing bite behind the knee is also close. Fang chomps on calf worry me.

The latest round of Hibiclens has been due to the dog attack a week ago. It was part of my prescribed routine in the hopes of avoiding infection. I'm done with it as of this morning, and I'm glad. It really didn't help my feelings on it in general.

Yep. Multiple times a year, in the metro Atlanta area, it makes the news that some sort of rabid wild animal fought with or attacked at least one dog. In July, it was a rabid raccoon and it attacked three different dogs.

The way the human brain is wired, smells are strongly associated with experiences. We strongly recall emotions associated with those experiences. As such, I will never be less than viscerally put off by the smell of Hibiclens. It's never been associated with anything good.

I keep seeing dudes trying to criticize tone of conversations, implying that women need to shut up & we bring it on ourselves, etc. There's a chunk of them who lack empathy & don't care as long as we all stfu so they can continue to ignore our feelings & issues more easily. So, no, they don't.

I try to figure out all the things I need to do in advance/what it will involve. I repeatedly tell myself that I'm prone to expect the worst, so I'm most likely going to walk away from Scary Thing thinking "wow, that wasn't so bad". I come up sometimes with a reward to myself for afterward.

Oh no kidding. A fun twist on that is that I have a relatively common name and the metro area I'm in has a handful of us sharing the same name. I get political texts aimed at the <other Chartreuses>, asking/reminding me to vote in elections in completely different counties from my own.

That was easily the most frightening part of the whole Platner candidacy, it was amazing how many people were so quick to call racist tattoos and a credible accusation of rape as no big deal, that anyone who had a problem with either one were just holding him to too high of standards.

Where the hell does the window and sliding door on the bottom of the graphic go? Is it interior? Exterior? If it's interior, why is it an exterior style door and a window? For that matter, shape of that shower has some really acute angles that are going to be nearly impossible to tile or clean.
