I'll tell ya some pre-covid medium-sized city shit I miss - movie theaters having a late show on Friday/Saturday nights. Amongst other tales, there sure was a stretch of time in the fall of 2016 where I would take a hit of acid before the late show of Doctor Strange. Beautiful times.

Sometimes I listen to the Pulp song "Like A Friend" and think, yes, very good song, and also the Venture Bros. scene set to it at the end of "Operation P.R.O.M" is one of the highlights of the whole damn series Action, heart, laughs, Britpop, mutant assassin bug-women vomiting acid on horny nerds.

I know it's a series full of weird and fucked up faces but man, the Ocarina remake faces look weird as fuck. Off-putting stuff. (Other Zelda takes - Link to the Past is still the best one, Ocarina is pretty great tho, Breath of the Wild is a fucking great game but a pretty shitty Zelda game)

Gotta remember that Heroes premiered before the superhero wave really hit big, and Reborn was them going "now we want to try and get in on that" What a clusterfuck of a series. I loved it, but never finished the final season. (S1 was kinda great, S3 had some good stuff, S2 was Whoof)
