This is an amazing and, in my experience, almost entirely unappreciated benefit of electric vehicles that have vehicle-to-load or -home capabilities. (Most have V2L but few have V2H today.) EV companies should cultivate this capability and hit it much harder in their advertising.

Add Pennsylvania to the list of states with a credible accounting of how disastrous dedication to market fundamentalism has been. We talked about this in our Overcharged report: climateandcommunity.org/research/ove...
The most realized implementation of retail competition, which recall is
designed to be paired with dynamic pricing that was discussed earlier,
has proved to be predatory in New York, Connecticut, Illinois, Maine,
Maryland, and Massachusetts. Billions of dollars of overcharges have
been allowed by public utility commissions in these states compared to
service from an integrated, monopoly-model utility. Consumer interest
advocates and state attorneys general in all of these places are
attempting to end the practice.

Why are electric bills so high? If your monopoly utility spends $10 million on wires and transformers, your state will let them increase prices to recover the $10M plus ~$1M per year, every year for the foreseeable future. You and your neighbors will pay ~$35M for ~$10M of infrastructure.

"How Do You Avoid Hitting People With Your Car" pocket guide. Instructs readers to Watch the Road and Slow Down. Further text humorously insists that watching the road and slowing down are indeed important.

Scientists found that phthalates act as "anti-androgens", blocking production of testosterone in utero. In boys, that can lead to decreased fertility much later in life, and higher rates of birth defects.
"Without enough testosterone, testicles don’t descend fully, a condition known as cryptorchidism; sometimes, the urethra emerges on the side of the penis instead of on the tip, a condition known as hypospadias. Later in life, men with these conditions are more likely to suffer from infertility or low sperm counts."
