Nice long walk in the Laguna near our home. 7 year old granddaughter’s soccer game. Many Moons Festival (Asian festival) at Ives Park followed up with dinner at a Japanese restaurant in the Barlow. Headline inflation of 0.2% in the month, running at 2.7% over the year. Core rose 0.3% in July, and 3.1% over the year. For two years inflation was declining toward the Fed's target.
