I'm seeing less posts about the Visa and Mastercard situation and I want to make it plain as day. You need to keep calling and bothering them, and losing them money. Because if we lose this, they are going to cut more and more from what's available until you can only buy what they approve of.

Translation isn’t simply plugging words into a dictionary and spitting out the “same” word in a different language. It requires knowledge of grammar and context. It’s a skill that AI simply cannot replicate because a good translation drips with humanity.

There are words with animal names in ENG: Dog-tired, crocodile tears, scaredy cat, etc., right? They also exist in JP. Like: 狼狽ろうばい　rou-bai (wolf + mythical wolf) = panic 猫舌ねこじた　neko-jita (cat + tongue) = Tongue sensitive to heat (temp) 犬死いぬじに　inu-jini (dog + death) = Meaningless death in war
